A brand-new CD by renowned koto performer Kazue Sawai is now available! This live recording, captured at the Suginami Public Hall in July 2017, features Sawai performing works by composer Yoichi Sugiyama. The album includes pieces for 17-string koto, reconstructed 5-string and 7-string zithers, as well as compositions for 17-string koto with electronics. Also featured is a 2024 recording of a duet for 17-string koto and Yasuko Sato’s 25-string koto.
